Terms of Service

1. What Dreamland is (and isn't)
Dreamland is a virtual entertainment product. When you buy a parcel, you buy a digital item inside the Dreamland application: a uniquely numbered virtual deed tied to a shape drawn on a 3D map.
A Dreamland purchase grants no ownership, rights, title, or interest of any kind in real-world land, buildings, or property. Parcel boundaries are decorative and have no legal meaning. Landmark names are used descriptively; Dreamland is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the owners or operators of any real-world landmark.
2. Accounts
You need an account to buy parcels. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to make purchases. We may suspend or ban accounts that abuse the service, attempt fraudulent payments, or use offensive usernames.
3. Purchases & pricing
All prices are set by the platform, shown in USD, and processed securely by Stripe. Dreamland never stores your card details. A purchase is complete when payment is confirmed and your deed is issued; the parcel is then marked as yours on the map and in the public deed ledger (your username and deed number are publicly visible).
4. Refunds
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the parcel is returned in an unused state (not renamed, transferred, or featured in promotions). Refunded parcels return to the marketplace and the deed is voided. To request a refund, contact support with your deed number. After 14 days all sales are final, except where consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
5. Virtual items
Parcels and deeds are licenses to a digital feature of the service, not property, currency, securities, or investments. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money (except per the refund policy above), and may not be resold outside the platform. We may add, change, or retire map data, imagery, and cosmetic features over time, your deed and parcel record always remain.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep Dreamland online continuously but provide the service "as is" without warranties. If Dreamland were ever permanently discontinued, we will give at least 90 days' notice. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
7. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at abusive rates, exploit bugs for free parcels, or use the map for unlawful purposes. Report vulnerabilities to us responsibly.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Dreamland after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
